i just readed this last week on book about particles all this three in a row ほど,まで and ばかり had about .. as a posibble meaning maybe made means just about
as if you just assumes it took me about 1 hour to post my journal
ほど and ばかり I can understand to mean [about]. But not まで. Can you provide an example + english translation?

ほど,まで and ばかり is used like about for estimating
You went to the library (past tense) so its 行きました. If its 図書館に行きます its just saying you're going to the library. And I would use the particle に instead of へ; not because of 行きました, just because I would. 行きました is not "passive" by the way.

ok i got it あげる (give) 上げる (raised)
maybe this how most people distinguish the difference.
Like i said, i think あげる (give) CAN be written with the kanji 上. But I usually dont cause thats how I distinguish the difference.
