I've found that when you start to learn Japanese the spacing makes everything really easy to read, but most texts will not have the spaces -.- If you look for particles in the sentences it gets a bit easier to read, i.e を, は, と, and が. Other than ...

Why are you studying Japanese?
I am studying Japanese because I love the language, and love the Japanese culture. I plan to have a career in languages, my dream being a manga translator; so it is a very beneficial study area. In 2010 I want to spend a year in Japan as a student (with the WEP program), and I'm really looking forward to it.
