Hi Hi-Denki! Welcome to this discussion. To answer your question, 第 means more like chapter (like the next series of something). Like the chapters of a book or episodes of an anime. It has a more chronological notation whereas 番 is numerical (thats what i think anyway). Hope that makes since.
I see you're found 第一 and my other discussion. The former was kinda old and latter was discontinued (dont know why). So I decided to start 第二 hoping other people will join.
Q&A is simply that: a question & answer for ANY level and ANY questions. Feel free to ask any questions (I have asked ALOT to Max). Again, welcome!
Ah you called me Hi-Denki thats like high powered electricity.
Thanks for the answer.
I should really give more thought on the meaning of kanji on this, they may give the same translation but still has a diffrerent meaning.
第一 wasn't titled 第一 but figured it out that it was this discussion 日本語で練習しましょう.
じゃ 多分 私 の すぎ の ポスト わ 後 で
日出来 - this set of kanji can't be use for a name does it
its weird unreadable and unsualy aint it
And my display name is Hi-Deki doesn't have the letter N on it
The name isn't really a big deal but I just don't like being refered with the wrong name.
Oh cause before you said it meant high powered electricity and [electricity] is [denki] 電気 with a N, and you also referred to yourself as Hi-Denki in the previous post so im just a little confused. 出来(る) means [can do] by the way.
I readed about this on a book,a word composed of 2 kanji is called?
I just can't remember, cause I only readed the word ones and didn't bother about it till I thought that it would be nice to practice on it.
If you where to search about this word you should see a collection of words that is composed of 2 kanji.
Hi-Denki = [(Hi)=High (電気)=Electricity ] I thought you mispelled my name intentionaly as a pun with the addition of ん.
And as high powered as in refering to my personality as energetic (haha my imagination is just to wild)
I wanted my name to be 日出来 because of it having 出来(る) and 日 for day, which would have an abstract meaning of aruhi.
It can't be really its made up
(its weird unreadable and unsualy aint it) - as i said on my previous post
5 years studying, on the 3 years I wasn't really serious then on this past 2 years really taking it seriously now even with the little time a have to study.
I figure that anything more than 3 kanjis would be a combination of english words. For example: 東京大学校: while that has 5 kanjis its actually 2 words (Tokyo University). Same with 4 kanji (電話番号: phone number), and sometimes even 3 kanji (結婚式: wedding ceremony) and 2 kanji (氏名: full name). I would be really interested to see ONE word with 5 kanjis.
