A place to learn Japanese.

So I guess that either you know or want to learn Japanese. But are there any other languages that you know or wish to learn?

As for myself I know fluent English and Spanish. I'm trying to learn Japanese and maybe someday I'd like to learn French.

No problem for being late.

I plan to also learn Chinese, a lot of my relatives speak it.
It is similar to Japanese.

Lessee, I'm American so I speak English pretty fluently, lol, and I very close to speaking Spanish quite fluently. Japanese is next!

I'm planning on being an exchange student to Japan next summer^^

Well, concerning me, I'm from Italy, so I can speak pretty well Italian. I studied Latin and Greek at school, then I'm still learning English day by day (I find it a great language!), and now I'm trying to "move the first steps" in Japanese... for now it's all, but... who knows? Maybe in the future I could learn... mmm... Spanish? French? We'll see...

...let's focus on Japanese now! eheh

I took French my freshman year of highschool, but I completely messed myself up. See, it was required of me to take a foreign language (japanese was not offered, sadly), so I wasn't seriously into it or anything - I just did it because I had to. Well, I did great first semester but then stopped paying attention right when we got into harder grammar, and conjugating verbs and masculine forms and feminine forms and blah blah. Needless to say, I quickly became lost (my own fault really), and flunked out. Anyway, my point is, I wouldn't mind going back and re-learning French someday. I'd also enjoy learning some either Korean or Chinese, after Japanese. Spanish, possibly some day, but it's wayyy low on my list in order of priority.

Wow, I better get cracking at all this, huh? Looking at my own personal list just now, it's quite overwhelming. Hope I didn't just scare myself away.

Well I speak English and Spanish pretty well. I am also trying to learn German and French, along with Japanese. I'm hoping to learn Arabic as well. I'm studying Hispanic Linguistics at university so I have a big love of languages and want to learn as much as possible. I've been like this since I was little.

If you would want to know French, I am fluent in since i lived there and went to school there since birth until two years ago. I could teach you if you want. If you know Spanish, it will be very easy.

That's a kind offer, Frenchie (are you okay with being called "Frenchie" by an Englishman :D?).

If learning Japanese wasn't subsuming all my linguistic synapses I'd be certain to take you up on that as I've wanted to learn French since my schooldays :O.

We did Esperanto first and then switched to French and German - the German stuck and the French faded away :(.

Oh ok.
Ya, I studied German in 4th grade three years ago, but it kinda faded away. I remember some things and i still have my workbooks. It was sad, there were only eight people in my class. Most were in the English class (i was going to the lycee for private school in English two half days a week since first grade, thus i became the teacher's teacher in that subject ^_^)
But then, i moved to California in fifth grade and couldn't start studying a language again until seventh grade this year. So i picked Spanish, but it is so fuckin slow. We are past half-way through the year and we only know our -ar verbs in present tense. I still do extra work to actually do something, and i started japanese not long after.
If you ever would want to, you could ask me. I am always lookin for somthin to do.
By the way, it is ok if you call me Frenchie. Everyone calls me that or Omar (cuz it's my middle name.)
